ResalesPlantation, Florida Sales Still Red Hot, Say Local Realtors
While Plantation, Florida is showing a slight seasonal slowdown, the area remains red hot, say local Realtors.
"Plantation is in a great location," explain Realtors Marilyn Wechsler and Allen Rosenthal, "west of Fort Lauderdale with great shopping and near all major highways."
The Real Estate market in Plantation & surrounding area have been "Red Hot" for the past six months. The result is a decrease in available inventory. Whether you are interested in buying or selling, now maybe the best time to call for assistance with your plans. It"s anybody"s guess how long the cost of borrowing will remain affordable or low. Says Realtor Mark Roth, "Plantation is a middle to upper class community, and continues it"s history of a very desirable family community whose homes tend to hold or increase their value in most markets."
Roth explains, "Mortgage rates are at the lowest since records have been kept on them. This should continue to generate more buyers and keep the seller"s market strong. Trends differ depending on where you live -- in some markets prices are soft and affordability is up, while in other areas the market is fairly balanced between buyers and sellers. Moreover, low mortgage rates are making homes more affordable, a lure few buyers can ignore."
Says Realtor Ana Zitnick, "Plantation is known as "Tree City." The city prides itself on its natural beauty of tree-lined streets, lovely residential areas and much more."
She advises, "Sales have slowed down somewhat as the market does this time of the year. However, with the low interest rates still available, buyers continue to take advantage of the rates or sellers are either downsizing or moving "up" for more square footage. The market currently indicates an inventory that is somewhat low. Often the sales price is either a full price offer or in some sales, over the full-price asking amount."
