Property ManagementERC Announces 1999 Executive Committee and Board
The Employee Relocation Council is pleased to announce its 1999 officers, recently elected by its Board of Directors, and its full slate of board members for the coming year. The new officers, who comprise the Executive Committee for the Employee Relocation Council are, as 1999 President: Steven E. Rogers, SCRP, DuPont Company; as 1999 Vice President: Kevin Lanagan,
SCRP, Social Security Administration; and as 1999 Secretary-Treasurer: Brenda H. Fender, SCRP, Riverwood International Corporation. 1998 President Jack Major, SCRP, will serve as Chairman for the 1999 Board of Directors. The Executive Committee establishes all current objectives, supervises the overall management of the association, appoints individuals to serve on standing committees, and reviews all proposals and recommendations prior to review by the Board of Directors. Members of the Executive Committee also serve as board members.

ERC board member responsibilities for the organization include addressing association policy, bylaws, and ethics issues; reviewing the Council"s activities, events, and budget; assisting in the planning and development of ERC educational programs and publications; and contributing to and fulfilling the organization"s strategic plan for the "greater good" of the entire ERC membership.
Formed in 1964, ERC is a nonprofit professional membership organization committed to the effective relocation of employees worldwide. ERC"s current membership includes corporations and government and military agencies that relocate their employees, as well as nearly 11,000 individuals and companies
from the relocation industry including real estate appraisers and brokers, area and personal counseling services, consulting services, home inspection companies, household goods movers, mortgage services, national home purchase firms, and a variety of other relocation-related services.
